I had a nice one night stay here. The room and the bed was enough for 1 person and comes with free light breakfast (3n1 coffee & egg bread). Towel, shampoo, and soap were the complimentary toiletries. I absolutely loved the big window that makes the room brighter. The staff were also accommodating and courteous. There were nearby restaurants and pubs in a walking distance, although there were parts of the street where it’s dark if you decided to walk (at night) to and from the main road. On the other hand, it would be better if there was an outlet near the bed and a bidet for the toilet. Nevertheless, I would recommend this to anyone.

Many things to improve to consider this a good choice. From the start, troubles in communication; to finish, there's a serious risk of paying 50PHP if your bed sheet get a blood stain, either injury or natural woman extra bleeding; in the middle, no elevator for a 4 storey building and 5PHP per sugar bag if you ask for a coffee (Nescafé small bag) out of brkfst period which itself is quite scarse as a mug of coffee and a bun is on offer. On the good news, room is good, clean, sufficient, though bathroom gets too much water all over; Wifi good, tv i never experience. Close to a busy avenue with transports.

So clean,no smell, with netflix and free light breakfast Walkable to landers, abreeza, boxed up, victoria plaza/Nccc, chowking, banks, 711, korean mart and resto Attendants always smile and approachable. Easy to communicate.

Location: The dormitel is in a subdivision and close to the heart of Davao. NCCC VP is in walking distance only while Abreeza, SM lanang and Gmall are just one ride away. Room: The room was really nice and clean. I appreciate a shampoo included (which is usually not available) as well as a decent wifi connection. It was spacious enough with all the necessary amenities available. What I don't like is the mattress. It was quite hard for me. Our room was also in the 4th floor which is quite a hassle walking up and down the stairs. Complementary breakfast only consists of an instant coffee and bread. Keys are also required to be left in the front desk when going out. Staff: I appreciate the staff. She was friendly and catered to our needs and inquiries. Car parking: Inexistent. Since it's in a subdivision, you just have to look for a place along the road to park. Not recommended for travellers with cars. Price: Paid P1,170 via Agoda. It's reasonable. You get your money's worth.

I wasn't sure if I should make a review but decided to as there is always a room for improvement:) Maybe we can better tourism in our country? :) The Strand's ads were catching, the reviews from their clients good, but I actually was not able to book a room with them, as I had a problem communicating with the Hotel. The Host asked me to send pics of my ID, front and back, she said that the pics were not clear, we went back and forth, sent my ID three times. These took two to 3 days as her responses were not prompt every time. I was also asked to send a screenshot of myself. My credit card details, as well. At this juncture, I looked at the profile of the host, ànd found out that she was from California!? I asked for another Host, waited for a while, and then decided to look for another hotel; was able to book ourselves easily.

Probably the best place in Davao for the price. We are really happy and plan on extending our stay. The staff is so helpful and there are conveniences on site such as hot and cold water, soda and juice for purchase; as well as snacks. Great restaurants to order from and just a stones throw away from the mall, NBI and Davao Immigration.

The Strand is amazingly clean, close to the metro, and surprising affordable! If you are on business trip around the metro you may want to consider this place for your peace of mind. The room is spacious. They provide a simple breakfast. Shower has heater. Room is air-conditioned. Wifi connection is provided on each floor.

I stayed here twice. And I find it convenient since I could just walk or ride a jeepney to go to a mall. And it is near to my training areas..

The place was small but very clean, elegant, and quiet. Was happy to find this place as the room was nice and the service was excellent. Will come back here next time!
